Delilah is an American Bald Eagle-dragon hybrid. She is a princess in a kingdom ruled by hybrid bird-dragons. She has a full dragon form that she is scared to use, since she hurt her maid, who is also a friend to her, when she was a dragon. She is scared of her dragon form and swears to never let it out again. She keeps it at bay by pretending to be forgetful and not aware of her surroundings. Will she ever learn to accept her dragon form?

This is Delilah when she was little, in her dragon form. She's going to pounce in the pic, and that hurts the maid in the long run. Her baby dragon form is just playing and not being fully aware of what she was doing till it was too late. This is what starts the conflict in the story.

Etoirir is Deliah's baby dragon familiar. He was given to Delilah by her parents to help her work with her dragon form issues. He feels like his being given to Deliah was a mistake. She won't work with him; instead, she ignores him. The more time he spends with her, the more he ends up frustrated. He'd rather stay with his parents than be with her.

He's an American bald eagle-dragon hybrid. He is also the king. He has a sharp look to him since that's how her daughter, Delilah, sees him. Hudson and his wife, Briar, want to help their daughter, but it seems their daughter has been pushing them away. It was his idea to give her a dragon familiar.

Briar is the queen of the kingdom, as well as Dehlila's mother. She is a dragon-peacock hybrid. She has been getting fed up with Dehlila's act. She hates it and wants a change. The familiar isn't working.  She wants to kick her out so she can live like a normal person instead of being a princess and having everything done for her. Little does she know that her daughter likes this idea and doesn't think of it as a punishment.

Aiden was his given name by his parents, but he doesn't like his parents. One day he meets this person, and they give him a necklace that makes it so he can be a girl. He can switch between the two genders by pushing the pendant on the necklace. Aiden has to be a boy around his parents, and they can only be a girl by going out of the house. Their preferred name is Rayne, and they would prefer to stay a girl. One night they meet Delilah and change their life for the better.
